The General Plan Committee is dedicated to keeping communication channels open between Ocean Park residents and the City as Santa Monica plans its look and feel for the next 20 years through the Land Use and Circulation Element (LUCE) update to the city’s General Plan.

For more information on how you can help, please contact OPA at contact@opa-sm.org.

Projects

The city Planning and Community Development Department has already been out in the community several times this spring as part of a workshop series focused on Placemaking and Boulevard improvements in Santa Monica. Look for updates on future workshops at the OPA web site.

Look for upcoming city workshops at http://www.shapethefuture2025.net.

Share your ideas! The first Wednesday of each month provides another opportunity to stay involved at the Planning Commission meetings at 7:00PM at City Hall.

OPA stands to promote, protect, and enhance the friendly, walkable, bikeable beach community that is Ocean Park.

We cherish the delicate and unique sense of community, intimate scale, and artistic creativity that have helped shape Ocean Park over the past 100 years.

Ocean Park is our neighborhood, and OPA aims to be a voice for our community.
