4:00 to 5:00 PM SPECIAL COMMUNITY FORUM ON HOMELESSNESS IN SANTA MONICA
Presentation by Danielle Noble, Community and Cultural Services, on City Hall’s efforts to reduce homelessness in Santa Monica
City of Santa Monica has seen a reduction in numbers of homeless individuals. The City funds several programs and agencies that work to help the homeless population get the help they need. Santa Monica collaborates with Westside cities.

Officer Robert Martinez from the Homeless Liaison Program (HLP Team) was present and answered questions regarding how to respond to homeless
individuals. He recommended calling the police dispatch at 310-458-8491 to report any concerns.

· ACTION: Pauline will work with Membership Committee to organize materials for Annual Meeting
· ACTION: Lori, Dennis, Jan will prepare email blast to get volunteers for the event
· Suggestions to have High School students volunteer to help. They can receive Community Service Hours
· ACTION: OPA will create community service form
· ACTION: Pauline will work with Nominating Committee to prepare materials for voting
